Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, friends, and families. Assesses, collects, and analyzes comprehensive objective, subjective, psychosocial, and cultural data pertinent to patient condition to determine the nursing diagnosis, patient needs and plan of care. Prioritizes and implements the identified plan, coordinates care delivery, employs interventions to improve patient outcomes while providing a safe, respectful, and ethical practice environment. Evaluates the individualized plan of care and progress towards attainment of outcomes in collaboration with patient/family utilizing available data/resources.
