A full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is needed to provide 1:1 nursing support for a medically fragile elementary student. This contract position will begin in November and continue through January 5, 2026. The role is based in Racine, WI, with responsibilities primarily focused on accompanying the student to and from school via bus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized nursing care for a student with medical needs, including managing trach, G-tube, and seizure care.
  • Assist with feeding and hygiene as necessary.
  • Ensure safe transportation by being present at the student's home by 6:45 AM to ride the bus together to school and accompany the student on the return trip, with bus drop-off at 3:13 PM.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold an active LPN license in the state of Wisconsin.
  • Experience working with medically fragile children, especially those requiring tracheostomy care, G-tube management, and seizure monitoring.
  • Ability to manage feeding and personal hygiene care confidently.
  • Comfortable and reliable in providing 1:1 nursing support, including accompanying the student on the bus.
