We're seeking an experienced and motivated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to step into the leadership role of Unit Manager.


Position Summary
As an LPN Unit Manager, you’ll be responsible for the daily clinical management of your assigned unit, including supervision of nursing staff, care coordination, and regulatory compliance. This is an ideal position for a detail-oriented LPN with supervisory experience looking to grow in their nursing leadership career.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support CNAs, LPNs, and other clinical staff on your unit

  • Conduct daily resident rounds to monitor care, assess conditions, and ensure quality outcomes

  • Assist in care plan development and interdisciplinary coordination

  • Respond to resident and family concerns with professionalism and empathy

  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation of care and assessments

  • Monitor and ensure compliance with infection control protocols and regulatory standards

  • Participate in audits, surveys, and performance improvement processes

  • Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to manage scheduling, evaluations, and team support


Qualifications

  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with active license in North Carolina (required)

  • Minimum 1–2 years of supervisory or charge nurse experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting (preferred)

  • CPR certification (required)

  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and leadership skills

  • Familiarity with state and federal regulations related to long-term care
