Caregiver Per Diem

Shift: Monday-Friday 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Responsibilities:

  • Work in a fast-paced senior day center as a bus aide assisting clients getting on and off the bus.

  • Responsible for going with the day center bus driver to pick up clients from their homes and drop them off at the end of the day. Will also go with clients to medical appointments.

  • Responsible for locking wheelchairs in place on the bus and seating clients.

  • Assist clients to the toilet in the community as needed.

  • Alzheimer's and Dementia Experience a plus

Pay Rate $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license, insured automobile, and personal transportation

  • Minimum 1 years of professional home care experience

  • High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate required

  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds

  • Ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job

  • Must have a sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick

  • Enjoy spending time with seniors!

  • TB test- PPD or QuantiFERON (both within the past year) or Chest X-ray (within the past 5 years)
