Comprehensive assessments, development of individualized treatment plans, patient and family education, coordination of care, and ongoing management to promote healing, prevent complications, and optimize patient outcomes. Perform wound care procedures such as sharp debridement, application of advanced dressings, compression therapy, and management of biologic/adjunctive therapies. Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic tests, including laboratory studies, imaging, vascular assessments, and cultures. Prescribe medications, wound care treatments, and durable medical equipment as appropriate.
