Job Title: Caregivers Needed

Location: Valleywide 

Are you passionate about helping others and making a real difference in their lives? We are looking for dedicated and compassionate caregivers to join our team and provide exceptional support to those in need.

As a caregiver, you’ll be assisting clients with daily living activities and helping them maintain their independence in the comfort of their own homes. You’ll follow personalized care plans and provide services such as companionship, meal preparation, light housekeeping, transportation, and personal care assistance, including bathing and dressing.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience: A minimum of 1,000 hours (approximately 6 months full-time or 12 months part-time) of experience working with geriatric or chronically ill individuals is preferred. Exceptions made for recently licensed CNAs, HHAs, or those providing companionship and housekeeping only.
  • Certifications: CNA or HHA certification is preferred but not required.
  • Health and Safety: Proof of current TB testing, ability to safely transfer clients, and compliance with infection control protocols.
  • Transportation: Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and automobile insurance required for client transport.
  • Background Check: Must be able to pass a criminal background check (national and state-required).
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, family members, and team members.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Care Plan Implementation: Follow personalized care plans to ensure clients receive the appropriate support and assistance.
  • Client Support: Provide companionship, meal preparation, housekeeping, transportation, and personal care (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding).
  • Communication and Advocacy: Report any changes in client condition to the Care Manager and advocate for client needs.
  • Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and infection control practices; notify the office if additional supplies are needed.
  • Timekeeping and Documentation: Accurately log hours, tasks, and client status using ClearCare Telephony system.
  • Professionalism: Maintain a professional appearance and conduct, adhering to company policies and dress code.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to assist with client transfers and repositioning using proper techniques and equipment.
  • Reliable transportation to clients’ residences.
