Must Haves: 

  • Graduate of an accredited practical or vocational nursing program and licensed to practice in the state
  • 3 years of nursing experience (home health/hospice preferred)
  • Staff License Practical Nurse (LPN) (maintain a current CPR certification
  • Knowledge, ability, and the necessary skill and judgment to perform all nursing procedures as outlined in the scope of practice in the State’s Nurse Practice Act and under the direction of the registered nurse and physician orders
  • Staff License Practical Nurse (LPN)
  • Available for work on weekends and holidays as required
  • Staff License Practical Nurse (LPN) must be able to read, write, speak and understand English as needed in the job
  • Participate in in-service education programs as mandated by State law (this requirement need not be met exclusively through Right at Home sponsored in-services programs)

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

  • Primarily works in client’s place of residence including facility; travel may be required. 
  • Shift times and days vary with client needs.

What You'll Be Doing The licensed practical nurse is expected to perform tasks and responsibilities within the framework of nursing services and the scope of practice in a skilled nursing facility.
