You don’t have to be a gourmet chef but you can prepare a good meal and work your way around a kitchen. You are able to perform other assigned activities which are taught by a nurse, for a specific patient, which includes but is not limited to: Reinforcement of dressings (non-sterile) Assisting with the use of devices for aid in daily living (cane, walker, wheelchair or lift device) Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises Measuring and preparing special diets Measuring intake and output Taking vital signs (temperature, pulse, respirations and blood pressure) Travel Required Must Haves: 18 years of age or older Must have a sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick, and ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job 6 months of caregiving experience Ability to pass a background check Read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job Ability to lift at least 50 pounds Valid Driver's License and vehicle with valid insurance Ready to change someone's life?
