What you will be doing

·        Assist with Activities of Daily Living for HHAs (Bathing, grooming, toiletting, ambulation...)

·       Take clients on walks, trips to social events, assistance with hobbies, or run an errand

·        Perform light housekeeping

·       Medication reminders

·       Companion services

·       Prepare a home cooked meal (you don’t need to be a gourmet chef)

·      You will not provide medical, nursing or skilled services

 

 

What you bring along

·  Successful completed HHA/CNA state required course is mandatory

·       Must have a sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick, and ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job

·       Meets the requirements for employees providing direct patient care

·       Read, write, speak and understand Spanish as needed for the job

·       Homemaker Companion must be able to lift at least 15 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations.
