Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating and directing the day-to-day functions of the nursing services department in accordance with current rules, regulations and guidelines that govern the facility. Assist in developing and implementing a nursing services organizational structure. Allocate resources efficiently while ensuring that residents obtain their highest practical phycisal, mental and psychosocial well-being. Work with the Minimum Date Set/Resident Assessment Instrument (MDS/RAI) Coordinator to schedule, conduct and submit resident assessments. Assist the Director of Nursing in obtaining staffing information that must be posted in a daily bais. Participate in developing, implementing and periodically updating the resident's written discharge plan. Perform administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, charting, etc.
The Primary purpose of this position is to assist the Residents in accordance to their needs ranging from minimal assistance to total dependent care on activities on daily living. Prepare residents for meals, bath and take to/from dining area. Must be able to push, pull, move and/or lift a minimum of 25 pounds to a minimum height of 5 feet. Must be able move intermittently through out the day. Must be a Licensed Certified Nursing Assistant. Looking for Week-End 7 AM - 3PM , 3PM - 11PM AND 11PM - 7AM SHIFTS
