Job Description

Nemours is seeking a part time Advanced Practice Provider to join our Plastic Surgery Team! This position is casual or part-time and is exclusive to night and weekend call.

Key Responsibilities

• On site presence, including rounding and participation as a surgical first assist is expected.
• Provide independent and collaborative care as a member of the plastic surgery team for pediatric patients requiring diagnosis, evaluation, and management of plastic surgery clinical needs.

Qualifications

• Active Delaware (or compact state) Registered Nurse Licensure required
• Active Delaware Advanced Practice Nurse Licensure, or Physician Assistant Licensure with or without prescriptive authority required
• Delaware Controlled Substance Registration (CSR), Federal DEA registration with Delaware Address
• Current AHA BLS
• Excellent written, phone, and interpersonal communication skills required.
• It is strongly preferred to have a background in surgery

Nemours Children’s Hospital, Delaware , a 220-bed facility located in Wilmington, serves as a Level IV NICU and the only Pediatric Level 1 Trauma Center in the state. For more than 80 years, its world-renowned care, education and research capabilities have healed hundreds of thousands of children and provided training for thousands of pediatric specialists across the U.S.
