Regents Park at Aventura is currently searching for  Full time, Part time and Perdiem Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to work Weekends. We currently have 3 shifts available, 7am-3pm , 3p-11p and 11p-7a.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Basic Job Description:

A Certified Nursing Assistant provides healthcare and support to patients in a medical facility. Their main duties include offering basic physical assistance to patients, feeding patients according to their dietary needs and recording vital signs.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Responsibilities/Requirements:

  • Must have an active Florida Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) License
  • CPR certification
  • Gives direct care to residents, such as, assisting residents to the bathroom, bedpan use, shower or bathe residents, maintain residents hygiene, change bedding, etc.
  • Turn, reposition and move patients between wheelchairs, seats and beds
  • Serve meals and help patients eat their food
  • Measure vital signs like blood pressure and temperature
  • Listen to patients regarding any health concerns they might have and report details to a nurse or supervisor
  • Practices safety rules at all times to prevent incidents
  • Documents completely before the end of the shift
  • Personal Hygiene Care
  • Answers call light in a timely manner.
  • Places all belongings within patients' reach (call light, pitcher, glasses, remote, etc.)
  • Serves and collects meal trays, assists during meals, sanitizes/cleans tables after meals.
  • Assists with monitoring residents in the common area to maintain safety.
  • Assists residents in admission and discharge including the inventory of belongings.
  • Gathers supplies needed for the provision of care.
  • Makes unoccupied beds.
  • Assists residents in activity engagement of their choice and interest.
