Regents Park at Aventura is currently searching for Full time, Part time and Perdiem Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to work Weekends. We currently have 3 shifts available, 7am-3pm , 3p-11p and 11p-7a.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Basic Job Description:

A Certified Nursing Assistant provides healthcare and support to patients in a medical facility. Their main duties include offering basic physical assistance to patients, feeding patients according to their dietary needs and recording vital signs.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Responsibilities/Requirements:

Must have an active Florida Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) License
CPR certification
Gives direct care to residents, such as, assisting residents to the bathroom, bedpan use, shower or bathe residents, maintain residents hygiene, change bedding, etc.
Turn, reposition and move patients between wheelchairs, seats and beds
Serve meals and help patients eat their food
Measure vital signs like blood pressure and temperature
Listen to patients regarding any health concerns they might have and report details to a nurse or supervisor
Practices safety rules at all times to prevent incidents
Documents completely before the end of the shift
Personal Hygiene Care
Answers call light in a timely manner.
Places all belongings within patients' reach (call light, pitcher, glasses, remote, etc.)
Serves and collects meal trays, assists during meals, sanitizes/cleans tables after meals.
Assists with monitoring residents in the common area to maintain safety.
Assists residents in admission and discharge including the inventory of belongings.
Gathers supplies needed for the provision of care.
Makes unoccupied beds.
Assists residents in activity engagement of their choice and interest.
