Job Overview

We currently have an opening for a PRN Medical Assistant in our Redmond, OR facility.  Staff CMA functioning in a specialty role accountable for providing comprehensive, family-centered care to patients and families in the pediatric orthopedic Outpatient Department.  Provides the highest possible level of comprehensive care to Outpatient Clinic patients and their families under the direction of the Manager, Clinical Coordinator, or RN.

Location: Redmond

Schedule: PRN

Responsibilities

  • Assists physicians, nursing and other health care professionals with procedures, the intake and depart processes.  Accurately documents findings during the intake process in the EMR.
  • Measures, weighs, and obtains vitals and pulse oximetry and accurately documents in the computer.  EKG, PFT, and the lab draws as necessary.
  • Maintains examination rooms and equipment.  Insures that rooms are ready for the next patient.
  • Presents a positive customer friendly approach while carrying out all job functions.
  • Takes responsibility to ensure that any patient information is not left in visible sight.
  • Performs other duties as assigned, such as but not limited to, inventory of supplies and room cleaning, etc.

  • Associate Medical Assistant
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)

Preferred

  • 1 Year Medical Assistant experience
