Schedule: PRN/Per Diem/As Needed - 12 Hour Shifts - Night Shift 7:00p-7:00aCompensation: $50.00 per Hour

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit
  • Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment
  • Timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems
  • Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry
  • Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately
  • Competence in Rapid Response and code events
  • Instruct and counsel patients/families
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Valid State RN License
  • BLS is required at hire.
  • ACLS is required at hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Clinical experience

Description Medical City Denton RN ICU Seasonal PRN, Day Shift 62 per hour plus shift differentials Program runs September 21, 2025 - April 4, 2026 PROGRAM REQUIREM PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS · All seasonal RNs are required to work a minimum of 72 hours per pay period during the seasonal period. · Within a close geography, you may be asked to float to another facility that has an emergent staffing need. · Four (4) weekend shifts are required each 4 week schedule period. · During the course of the 32-week period, the employee is required to work two (2) holiday shifts (defined by Department Manager or designee). · Seasonal Staff are PRN status employees and are subject to first call-off. There are no guaranteed hours by the hospital. · Seasonal Staff will not be eligible for benefits, except 401(k) and retirement contribution per the PRN policy. · Seasonal Staff will not be eligible for extra shift bonuses (D1/CND or D2/ECD) · Registered Nurses who are in the Seasonal program will have one opportunity to pass the clinical competency evaluation. · Current FT/PT & PRN Level 3 employees are not eligible to join the Seasonal program for 2025--26 with the exception of RNs that participated in the Seasonal program in the previous year. · Current employees of HWS are not eligible for the seasonal program. · Shifts may vary based on the needs of the department.
