Pentucket Medical at Andover Medical Center offers an integrated system of care that combines expert, medical attention with the latest technology. Our primary care team of clinicians are there guiding you through the healthcare system. Whether it is preventive care, diagnosis of a chronic condition or treatment for a nasty cold, your primary care clinician uses their expertise and extensive experience to manage your overall health.


We are seeking a full-time 40-hour RN to support our Endocrinology, Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine practices located at 323 Lowell Street in Andover, MA. The desired schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm.

Summary

Under the supervision of a Nurse Manager or licensed clinical leader and in collaboration with other team members, provides direct and indirect patient care in accordance with the scope of practice.

Essential Functions

-Interviews patients about current problems, medications, and allergies and reviews medical records for pertinent previous and current information.

-Measure and record patients' vital signs, such as height, weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse, or respiration.

-Provide basic patient care or treatments, such as dressing wounds, treating bedsores, giving enemas or douches, rubbing with alcohol, massaging, performing catheterizations, routine immunizations, and/or nebulizer treatments and visual acuity tests.

-Participates in patient treatment regimen, including administering medications (under the supervision of a physician and registered nurse).

-Performs variety of office responsibilities: answers phones and takes messages and performs triage within scope of licensed practical nursing practice in an accurate and timely manner.

-Collect samples, such as blood, urine, or sputum from patients, and perform routine laboratory tests on samples.

-Prepare patients for examinations, tests, or treatments and explain procedures.

-Help patients with bathing, dressing, maintaining personal hygiene, moving in bed, or standing and walking.

School RN in Manchester, NH

A part-time Registered Nurse (RN) opportunity is available to support students with severe medical needs at a high school setting in the Manchester, NH area. This contract position runs from December 1 through June 19, 2026, during the school year. Position Details: Location: Manchester, NH (with travel between Nashua and Manchester) Schedule: Approximately 15 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with specific hours varying by caseload Duration: Contract through the current school year Caseload Descriptions: Student 1: A 20-year-old high school student with frequent seizures. The RN will accompany the student for three hours daily during community activities (estimated 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM) and manage frequent oral emergency medication administration. Student 2: A high school student with complex medical needs, including wheelchair use, respiratory care requiring deep suctioning, oxygen monitoring, tube feeding with medication administration, and total care lifting. The RN will provide care Monday and Friday from approximately 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM, utilizing public transportation to travel between home and school.
