Staffing Coordinator – CNA | Full-Time

Why This Role Matters:
As the Staffing Coordinator, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring our residents receive top-quality care by managing and coordinating nursing staff schedules. This position requires a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification and the ability to step in to assist on the floor when needed, making it the perfect blend of administrative work and hands-on resident care.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Scheduling & Staffing:
- Develop and maintain accurate nursing staff schedules, ensuring compliance with state regulations and facility policies.
- Manage last-minute call-outs and staffing shortages to ensure seamless care coverage.
Certification & Compliance:
- Verify and maintain staff certifications in collaboration with HR.
- Ensure timely renewal of CNA and nursing credentials.
Communication & Coordination:
- Work closely with nursing supervisors, department heads, and HR to align staffing needs.
- Communicate scheduling changes promptly to staff and leadership.
Onboarding & Orientation (with the assistance of the HR Director):
- Facilitate new hire onboarding and ensure proper training compliance.
- Coordinate orientation sessions to integrate new team members into facility operations.
Timekeeping & Attendance Management:
- Monitor employee attendance and time records, addressing issues proactively.
- Assist in managing payroll-related staffing concerns.
Data Management & HR Collaboration:
- Use scheduling software to track staffing needs and generate reports.
- Provide insights for staffing improvements and assist in recruitment efforts.
Flexibility & Hands-On Support:
- Step in to assist on the floor when needed to support staff and maintain resident care.
- Take on additional tasks as assigned by the Administrator or Director of Nursing.
What We’re Looking For:
CNA Certification – Required.
Experience in healthcare staffing or a related role.
Strong organizational & communication skills – You’re the go-to for scheduling solutions!
Familiarity with scheduling software & HRIS systems.
Knowledge of state staffing regulations & compliance.
Flexibility to assist with direct care and facility operations as needed.
