CNA License Caregiver Weekdays & Weekend

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced CNA to join our caregiving team. The CNA will be responsible for providing assistance with activities of daily living, companionship, and emotional support to our clients in the comfort of their homes or in assisted living or memory care facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a genuine desire to help seniors, good communication skills, and the ability to adapt to various behavior situations.

The hourly wage is between $16-18 plus great benefits.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
  • Provide assistance with mobility, transferring, and re-positioning
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to dietary needs
  • Perform light housekeeping duties, such as cleaning, laundry, and tidying up
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
  • Accompany clients to appointments and outings as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in the client's condition
  • Communicate effectively with clients, office/RNs, family members, and other healthcare professionals as needed

Qualifications:

  • Compassionate and empathetic demeanor, positive, professional
  • At-least 6 months paid senior caregiving experience (agency, facility, private pay client)
  • At-least 21 years of age or older.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
  • Smart phone
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with auto insurance that is willing to drive 20-30 minutes for a shift
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect client privacy
  • Tolerance small pets (dogs and/or cats)
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
  • CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
  • Prior experience with dementia patients and within senior care, a must!
