Job Summary and Responsibilities

Conduct hourly rounds on approximately 8 to 10 patients, checking vitals, maintaining whiteboard information, and assisting with care as needed.
Collaborates with RN in implementation of plan.
Assists patients with activities of daily living according to standards of care and hospital protocol.
Reports significant observed or reported alterations in the patient condition.
Assists with patient admission, discharge and transfer.

Job Requirements

Minimum:

High School Diploma or GED
American Heart Association Basic Life Support certificate
Documentation of successful completion of a Nursing Assistant training program

Preferred:

1 to 3 years Nursing Assistant experience in an acute care setting
AZ CNA License

Job Summary and Responsibilities We are offering up to a $1,500 Sign-On Bonus to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements. Check-in with the outgoing CNA at the beginning of your shift to get a report on your patients. Conduct hourly rounds on patients, checking vitals, maintaining whiteboard information, and assisting with care as needed. Assist patients with ambulation as necessary. This may mean helping them reach a recliner in their room, walk to the bathroom, or down the hall. Assist released patients in getting safely to their vehicles outside. Assist patients with hygiene needs. This can include a full bed bath, an assisted bed bath, or retrieving towels and soap for ambulatory patients. Help the bedside nurse with tube insertions such as an NG tube, rectal tube, or catheter.
