CAREGIVER RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide Personal Care & Hygiene Assistance like bathing, dressing grooming.
  • Companionship & Emotional Support: foster meaningful relationships, support, companionship, and social interaction
  • Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): like dressing, bathing, bathroom needs and other personal task
  • Meal Preparation & Feeding Assistance
  • Provide medication reminders
  • Transportation & Errands: to and from doctor’s appointment, pharmacy, and grocery store.
  • Documentation and notes on health, reporting any changes and keeping accurate records reporting concerns to supervisor or any family members.

Home Aid Minimum Qualifications

  • Ability to treat clients with compassion dignity and respect
  • At-least 6 months paid senior caregiving experience to any agency, facility or private pay client.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with auto insurance that is willing to drive 20-30 minutes for a shift
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to new situations
  • Tolerate small pets like cats and dogs in client's homes
  • Readily available via phone or email to receive shift schedules, client updates and promptly respond to any urgent matters or emergencies
  • Experience with Alzheimer's & Dementia and senior care is preferred
  • CPR/First Aid Certification is a plus
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
