We are seeking a compassionate and dependable caregiver to provide in-home support for a male veteran who has experienced a stroke and requires assistance with daily living activities the hours are 4pm-8pm Sun-Thursday

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with safe transfers and mobility support

  • Meal preparation and light housekeeping

  • Provide personal care, including changing a condom catheter as needed

  • Support respiratory needs, including monitoring oxygen (24/7 use) and administering nebulizer treatments when required

  • Maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment

Patient Information:

  • Male veteran, post-stroke

  • Limited mobility in right arm and non-verbal (can communicate through sounds)

  • Requires consistent oxygen therapy and occasional nebulizer use

  • Smokes — caregiver must respect his lifestyle choices while ensuring his care needs are met

Qualifications:

  • Previous caregiving or healthcare experience preferred

  • Ability to assist with catheter care and basic medical support

  • Strong communication and patience with non-verbal individuals

  • Respectful, non-judgmental approach to client lifestyle

  • Dependable and compassionate demeanor

Schedule & Location:
The shift is from 4pm-8pm. We also have a shift with the same client 9am-1pm. We are focusing on filling the afternoon shifts. The AM shifts will be available PRN
