The Companion is a non-licensed member of the home care team who provides non-medical care to the client in their residence. Essential Functions: To provide companionship and mental stimulation for the client. To assist with light housekeeping and organizing. To follow HIPAA guidelines regarding all clients. Responsibility of a Companion: To provide stimulation and companionship for the client: Reading Walks Conversation Games Accompanying the client to appointments or on errands Assist in planning and preparing meals and snacks according to specific dietary requirements as outlined in the client’s care plan.
