Provides hazard surveillance and reduces risk within the patient's physical environment. Engages patient appropriately in distraction activities as needed. Minimum Requirements High School or GED is preferred - or higher. NAI listing with NC Department of Health and Human Services is required. Experience in a comparable facility can only be substituted for NA I course by successful completion of challenge exam acceptable to the N.C. Department of Health and Human Services is required.
