MultiCare Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital is the state-designated Level II Pediatric Trauma Center and the only pediatric hospital in Washington’s South Sound Region dedicated to a comprehensive network of health services for children and adolescents. - Fulfills patient care responsibilities as assigned which may include:
- Organizing patient flow in collaboration with the front office staff
- Interviewing patients
- Obtaining vital signs
- Assisting patients in preparing for exams or treatments
- Performing specimen collection, including venipuncture
- Administration of medications in compliance with Washington State Department of Health regulations and documented competency
- Relaying instructions/information to patients and their families/caregivers
- Fulfills clerical responsibilities as assigned which may include:
- Sending and receiving of patient medical records
- Facilitating patient referrals
- Preparing forms for patients

- Completion of an accredited program for Medical Assistants
- Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C)
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred
