Caregiver Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have one year of caregiving experience
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Must be able to pass a background check

Caregiver Responsibilities:

  • Execute client care plans and document daily activities
  • Provide companionship and assist with activities of daily living
  • Meal preparation, light keeping, and laundry
  • Provide personal care (hygiene, mobility assistance, medication assistance)
  • Transport clients and run errands

Are you an experienced care provider looking for a part-time weekend position that makes a difference, with a company that appreciates their care team as the most important part of the company? Touching Hearts at Home is looking for individuals throughout the Dayton area to be part of the weekend on call care team for older adults who need assistance in their home with the tasks of daily living and companionship. The On Call Caregiver chooses to be available Saturday and/or Sunday for a 14 hour time block starting between 7-9am and is paid a competitive hourly rate ranging from $18-$23/hr for coverage of shifts needed due to unexpected needs. The guaranteed minimum weekend pay is $288.
