Employees at this level participate in a skilled patient care program by applying generalized and/or specialized nursing skills in an outpatient clinic environment. They work under the general supervision of a physician/nurse practitioner/physician assistant and/or designated supervisor with administrative direction from the clinic manager/administrator.
- Actively enrolled in an LPN program with an expected graduation date within 3 months of applying.
- Ability to become a Licensed Nurse in the state of Illinois within 6 months of start date.
Condition of Employment: Pursuant to the State Universities Civil Service System, an out-of-state resident who is hired into this position must establish Illinois residency within 180 calendar days of their start date.
