Overview

Responsibilities

  • Performs Nuclear Medicine procedures including IV injections of radiopharmaceuticals, use of spect camera and computers and processing of computer generated images.
  • Keeps accurate records of receipt, disposal and administration of radioactive material.
  • Performs required Quality Control procedures on camera and equipment and document results.
  • Reviews images, documents completion of case, assembles images, requisition and file jacket for delivery to Radiologist.

Education:

High School Diploma Or Equivalent Required

Additional Educational Requirements

Formal nuclear medicine technology training at an AMA approved school.

Work Experience:

Previous experience preferred.
