Boulder City Hospital is seeking a Per Diem Unit Clerk / Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to join our Medical/Surgical Unit. This dual-role position combines the responsibilities of a CNA with essential unit clerk duties, supporting both direct patient care and administrative functions to ensure seamless unit operations and excellent patient outcomes.

- Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, ambulation, nutrition, toileting)
- Provide comfort and emotional support to patients and families
- Assist nursing staff with examinations, treatments, and vital signs
- Maintain infection control and safety standards
- Respond appropriately to patient needs and emergencies

- Transcribe physician orders and enter data into electronic health records
- Support organization and coordination of unit operations

Qualifications:
- Current CNA certification (Nevada)
- 1–2 years of experience in Med/Surg, Rehab, Geri Psych, or Long-Term Care preferred
- CPR certification (current or scheduled to complete)
- Telemetry Certification
- Strong understanding of emergency protocols and personal protective equipment
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-centered environment
- Proficient in basic computer skills and hospital communication systems
- This is a Safety Sensitive Position, requiring attention to personal and patient safety at all times
