Ability to work well under pressure and be quick on your feet Neat and professional appearance Effective written and verbal communication skills Vocational certificate in Medical Assistant Float Pool Assignment Protocol Assignment communication will be handled by the Medical Assistant Float Pool Manager. Assignments will be shared the night before in the event of callouts. If no callouts occur, assignments will be communicated the morning of. Employees will initially be scheduled into a designated float pool department in Makeshift (e.g., “Region 2 Float Pool”). Once assigned, they will be moved into their specific clinic for the day. In the absence of callouts, float pool employees will default to the busiest center in their region. Employees will be compensated for any commute time that exceeds their normal travel to their designated home center. These commute adjustments must be reported daily in Time and Attendance and will be reflected in payroll. Working Conditions Center-Based, Daily Travel within assigned region locations required. Requires working in a clinical setting. The noise level is moderate and there is a potential for exposure to infectious diseases and blood-borne pathogens.
