Compensation

Salary Range: $46.92 - $73.61 per hour

The pay range above represents the lowest possible rate for the position and the highest possible rate. Factors that may be used to determine where newly hired employees will be placed in the pay range include the employee specific skills and qualifications, relevant years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most often, a newly hired employee will be placed below the midpoint of the range.

Responsibilities

Position Overview:

Provides safe, quality care in the infusion areas. Implements the nursing process; assessment, planning, implementation of nursing plan of care, and evaluation of patient response to care. Coordinates patient care planning with other hospital disciplines.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Associate Degree of Nursing (ADN)
  • Current CA Registered Nurse License
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification, or must be able to obtain within (60) days from hire date
  • Current Chemotherapy Administration Certification, or must be able to obtain within sixty (60) days from hire date (CMH Ventura)
  • One (1) year of acute care nursing experience 

Preferred:

  • Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • ONS/INS membership/certification
  • Knowledge of Det Norske Veritas (DNV)
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of Word Processing software
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Moderate sedation experience
