Job Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide high-quality support and assistance to individuals in need. The ideal candidate will have experience in senior care, working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, and dementia care. As a Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by offering personalized care and support in various settings, including nursing homes, group homes, and long-term care facilities. Duties · Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting. · Assist clients with mobility and lifting as needed to ensure their safety and comfort. · Monitor patient observation to track changes in health status and report any concerns to healthcare professionals. · Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and cognitive stimulation. · Support individuals with developmental disabilities by implementing tailored care plans. · Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by adhering to hygiene standards. · Document daily activities, progress notes, and any changes in client behavior or condition. · Collaborate with family members and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care. Requirements · Previous experience in senior care or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred. · Knowledge of dementia care practices is highly desirable. · Ability to lift and assist clients safely while adhering to proper lifting techniques. · Strong observational skills to monitor changes in client health and behavior effectively. · Compassionate nature with excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and their families. · Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various settings such as nursing homes or group homes. · Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
