Nurse Practitioner

Cuero Regional Hospital is searching for a FT or PT Nurse Practitioner in our Cuero Medical Clinic. A Nurse Practitioner is responsible for the delivery of quality patient care, working under the supervision of a Physician. The nurse practitioner will be responsible for assessing patients, formulating care plans, and continuity of care for patients throughout their lifespan in a family practice setting. The nurse practitioner will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver quality, cost effective, holistic, and evidence based medical care. Qualifications: Current Texas RN license, Nurse Practitioner certification Masters Degree from an Accredited Nurse Practitioner's Program 3-5 years clinic experience preferred Current BLS Certification

RN Circulator

Cuero Regional Hospital is seeking a RN Circulator to join our Surgery team. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: The Surgery Registered Nurse is responsible for the direct and indirect provisions of professional nursing care of the patients in the surgical suite and peri-anesthesia areas. The nurse is accountable for the patient's ongoing assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation and documentation of all of the components of care delivered to patients within the peri-operative/recovery environments utilizing the nursing process. He/she will monitor, aid and direct the activities of the surgical staff during the procedures and will maintain continuous communication with the surgeon, anesthetist and team. He/She will demonstrate knowledge of the necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment needed during the procedures. He/she will also have thorough knowledge of the instrument processing, sterilization, biological monitoring an will actively participate in these processes. He/she will share on call duties. Requirements: Graduate of an accredited nursing school Current RN license BLS certified Surgery circulating experience preferred, but not required Has organizational and multi-tasking skills

Certified Surgical Tech

Cuero Regional Hospital is searching for a FT Certified Surgical Tech in the Surgery Department. The Surgical Technologist handles instruments, supplies and equipment necessary during the surgical/endoscopic procedures and assists in the ordering, inventory control and maintenance of these. He/she has an understanding of the procedure and anticipates the needs of the surgeon/physician/OR team. He/she has the necessary knowledge and ability to ensure quality patient care during the procedure and is constantly on vigil for maintenance of the sterile field. Demonstrates thorough knowledge of instrument processing, sterilization, biological monitoring and actively participates in these processes. Share on call duties. Preferred Surgical Experience but not required Qualifications: Current BLS certification. Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology is preferred. Certification for surgical technologist. Membership with renewal in the National Association of SCT's preferred. Must live 30min away from hospital Must have very good organizational skills Call is required

Cuero Regional Hospital is searching for a FT CAR Coordinator in our Clinic Administration Department. Job Description: The referral and authorization LVN coordinator is responsible for ensuring all providers' orders for imaging, procedures, referrals, and surgeries are completed promptly and accurately. Authorization is obtained prior to scheduling. Documentation is entered in patient's electronic health record. LVN coordinator is responsible for following standing orders, ensuring specialists and/or facilities are in-network prior to scheduling appointments. LVN coordinator is responsible for ensuring insurance is valid, checking eligibility and benefits of patient's plan and informing patient of any payment that is due for services prior to the appointment date. LVN coordinator is responsible for professionally communicating with co-workers, providers, and other departments. The LVN coordinator is responsible for performing nursing clinical duties and/or traveling to other locations to perform clinical duties as assigned. Qualifications: LVN license in Texas Knowledge of insurance plans, receptionist type work, medical terminology 1-2 years of relevant work experience preferred Communication skills Multi-tasking BLS required
