Responsibilities: Leading Patient-Centered Care As a Registered Nurse (RN) at Complete Care at Southpointe, you will play a vital and hands-on role in providing high-quality, person-centered patient care. Your key responsibilities will include: Accurate Documentation: Maintaining accurate and thorough daily documentation of patient care, observations, and responses to treatments, ensuring comprehensive, legible, and up-to-date patient records. Medication Management: Precisely transcribing physicians' orders onto Medication Administration Records (MARs) and preparing/safely administering medications as prescribed, adhering to all established protocols and best practices. Interdisciplinary Communication: Promptly notifying the pharmacy of new orders and changes and proactively communicating critical patient information to the attending physician and interdisciplinary team. Care Planning: Collaborating effectively and proactively with the entire team (CNAs, LPNs, Therapists) to develop, implement, and continuously evaluate comprehensive, individualized care plans that meet each patient's unique physical, emotional, and social needs. Clinical Monitoring: Monitoring patient conditions closely (including vital signs, wound care, and pain levels), identifying subtle changes or concerns, and implementing appropriate, timely interventions in accordance with facility policy. Patient Advocacy: Educating patients and their families on health conditions, medications, and self-care techniques to promote understanding, compliance, and independence upon discharge.
