This role contributes to the mission and vision of the organization by being accountable for the delivery of compassionate and safe care within the scope of practice as defined by the Nebraska state statues, administrative code and organization bylaws. Essential Functions Responsible for providing safe, comprehensive and compassionate clinical care. Continuously evaluates the relationships among access, cost, quality, safety and their influence on healthcare outcomes and sustainability. Demonstrate understanding of internal and external rules, regulations and legislation as it relates to APP practice, licensure, certification and billing compliance. Maintains accurate log of credentialed procedures performed. Demonstrates competency and expertise when performing credentialed procedures/specialty skills. Participate in time out/sign out processes Maintains the sterile field during the procedure. Follow principles of aseptic technique and appropriate operating/procedure room procedures following AORN guidelines.
