Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments/evaluation of patient, obtain informed consent, and order necessary pre-anesthetic medications/consults. Develop and implement anesthetic care plans. Conduct pre-induction assessments, including medical record review, lab data, medication review, and patient condition updates, noting prior anesthetic experiences and complications. Monitor anesthesia care, management of patient anesthesia experience, and performing preoperative evaluations and preparations, administering Spinal, Epidural, Bier Block, Axillary Block, and other regional anesthesia, and general anesthetics monitoring patient reactions to anesthesia and surgery, managing fluid therapy, and performing post-operative evaluations. Advise Anesthesiologist or attending physician of adverse reactions necessitating non-delegated medical decisions; takes appropriate actions as directed or required. Maintain the patient's physiologic homeostasis and corrects abnormal responses to the anesthesia and/or surgery. Collect and interpret patient physiological data via noninvasive monitoring. Manage the patient's airway and pulmonary status. Manage patient emergence and recovery, including pain/complication management, via medication, fluids, or ventilator support. Document all anesthesia-related events, including agent dosages, fluids, and blood components. Document post-anesthetic visits, noting any complications.
