Teton Outpatient Services has an immediate need for a Full Time - Surgical Technologist/Scrub Tech ! Teton Outpatient Services is a multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center. Job Summary: The Surgical Technologist/Scrub Tech is responsible for ensuring proper care and use of surgical instruments. A nticipates the needs of the surgical team. Establishes and maintains sterile field during surgical procedures in the operating room. Monday-Friday work schedule! NO nights, NO weekends and NO holiday work! NO call required! E D U C A T I O N Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program preferred (IMH is willing to train the right candidate). E X P E R I E N C E Previous experience as a surgical technologist preferred. Previous experience with instrumentation required. Previous hospital experience strongly preferred. C R E D E N T I A L S Must obtain BLS within 60 days of hire and must maintain certification throughout employment with IMH. If graduate of a surgical technologist program, must be certified by the ASA as a CST or complete certification within 3 months of hire and must maintain credential throughout employment with IMH. Assists in preparing and moving patients and in cleaning the operating theater. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Will function as unit clerk. Qualifications: Must have computer/data entry experience. Will be responsible to gather paperwork, answer phones, coordinate with physician offices. MUST be flexible with hours and expectations.
