Student Nurse Apprentice - Resource Management Systems - Days (800)

$16.50 - $29.31 / HOUR

Job Description Will perform nursing skills, tasks and activities as submitted by Alabama Industry Recognized and Registered Apprenticeship Program and approved by the Alabama Board of Nursing, provided that such training, tasks, skills and activities are performed under the supervision of a registered licensed nurse. The Student Apprentice will complete the required number of clinical hours as outlined by the nursing program toward a nursing degree from a Board approved nursing education program. Student Nurse Apprentice positions are for nursing students in the 2nd Semester of their nursing school program. Qualifications Currently enrolled in a Board approved nursing education program (to begin apprenticeship in the 2nd semester) required. Must have obtained approval and basic competency validation of Board approved nursing skills from the nursing educational program. Must have received a Board issued permit for the duration of the student s enrollment in an Alabama approved nurse apprentice program. Basic life support (BLS) certification required within thirty (30) days of employment required.
