Position Summary The circulator nurse (Perioperative RN) is a key member of the surgical team responsible for managing non-sterile environment and ensuring a seamless flow of surgical procedures at the Ambulatory Care Center (ACC). This role focuses on maintaining patient safety, coordinating supplies and equipment, and facilitating communication between surgical team members. The circulating nurse serves as a patient advocate throughout the perioperative process, helping to ensure a positive and safe surgical experience. This is a day shift, outpatient position with no weekend, holiday or on call requirements, offering an excellent opportunity for work/life balance in a supportive and collaborative team environment. Minimum one (1) year of Operating Room Circulating Nurse experience required. Qualifications Education/Training • Graduate of an approved school of nursing. • Meets all mandatory, developmental, and performance competency requirements for Orlando Health and unit/department. Licensure/Certification • Maintains current State of Florida RN license or valid eNLC multistate RN license. • Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification. • ACLS, TNCC are required for certain areas. Experience • Minimum one (1) year of Operating Room Circulating Nurse experience required.
