BLS certification required. 1–2 years inpatient medical-surgical experience preferred. Oncology certification preferred. Strong communication, assessment, and critical thinking skills. Job Summary The Registered Nurse is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide comprehensive care appropriate to neonates during high-risk deliveries and in a Level-2 nursery. Nursing care is provided in accordance with the stated philosophy and standards established by the Nursing Service Department, regulatory agencies and professional organizations. The Registered Nurse is accountable for the safety of nursing care they deliver or supervise. The Registered Nurse is responsible to the patient and the family or significant others for the quality of direct and indirect nursing care delivered. Line responsibility to the Director, Obstetrical Nursing or designee. Minimum Qualifications Education Graduate of professional accredited nursing school required. Experience Previous experience in special care nursing of newborns preferred. 1 year of experience in SCN or Nicu required to qualify for the sign-on bonus. Licensure and/or Certification Currently licensed to practice professional nursing in Massachusetts required. BLS healthcare provider required. NRP required within 3 months of hire. Job Summary Reporting to the Practice Manager, and under general supervision and direct collaboration with the Supervising Physician, the nurse practitioner performs duties to assist supervising physicians in a wide range of clinical tasks. Responsible for managing a wide range of outpatient duties, as well as emergency situations, while adhering to standard practices and established procedures. This position ensures the quality and safe delivery of care to patients of all ages. Education Minimum Qualifications Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (ARPN) ,Completion of a Masters' Degree or Doctoral Degree Experience 3+ years experience in primary care/family medicine.
