ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Assist with employee training as needed, utilizing your expertise as a registered nurse. Evaluating the healthcare needs of patients and families with consideration of physiological, psychological, social, and environmental factors Evaluating & Completing Home Safety Checklist Implementing and revising the nursing care plan whenever necessary by regularly assessing, observing, and evaluating the patient's condition. Teaching the patient, family, and caregivers whenever appropriate and providing instruction regarding medication, diet, safety, and treatment modalities following the plan of care Handling other duties as needed Physical Demands The physical demands described here must be met by an associate while performing the duties of this job; the associate is frequently required to walk, sit, and talk or hear. The associate is occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle, feel, or operate objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms.
