Responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process. Assists with the implementation of plan of care. Provides acute and rehabilitative care for people with select disorders of the GI, GU and integumentary systems. Provides direct patient care to persons with abdominal stomas, wounds, drains, fistulas, wounds and incontinence. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served. RN with current state license. Must have at least three (3) years clinical experience as a Staff Nurse in a comparable area.

Position Details: Shift: Full Time - Day Shift Hours Per Week: 36 hours/week $7,500 Sign-On Bonus for New Hires with a 2-Year Commitment Job Summary: Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care. Assists physicians during examinations and procedures. Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse. Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Qualifications: Registered nurse licensure to work in the State of Arkansas. Requires an associate's degree in nursing.
