Perform diversified consultation-liaison and emergency department psychiatry services as directed, and in support of Southcoast Department of Psychiatry and Southcoast Physician Group, under the rules and regulations of Massachusetts governing Nurse Practitioner practice. Provide weekend coverage in rotation with other Departmental clinicians as directed. Participate in quality improvement endeavors as indicated, and assure adequate, timely, appropriate medical record documentation and billing. Qualifications Masters of Science Degree in Nursing is required. Certification from a National accrediting body to practice as a Nurse Practitioner is required. Current Massachusetts R.N. registration is required. Nurse Practitioner Certificate is required. Experience in adult behavioral health population, appreciating specific interest or experience in Substance Use Disorders and/or Geriatrics. Demonstrated standards of excellence, respect, communication, courtesy, enthusiasm, initiative and teamwork with the ability to develop complex patient management recommendations in consultation with attending Psychiatrist - is required.
