Job Summary Qualified RN applicants will be considered who will extend their NNP education in an intern position with Von Voigtlander Women's Hospital (VVWH) 9 East and 9 West Birthing Center as well as neonatal patients in the Brandon NICU on 8 W and the expansion unit (10 West). This educational program provides a valuable and unique career opportunity for current registered nurses who have graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with a Neonatal Specialty. By teaching a wide range of skills and knowledge, the program prepares the intern for their new role as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner. The selected candidate will practice as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner for 2 years in the C.S. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting in-home wellness risk adjustment assessments for Medicare and other populations. Your primary objective will be to assess the overall health and well-being of member beneficiaries to ensure accurate and comprehensive risk adjustment coding, leading to greater value-based care.
