The ASCC has the responsibility for coordinating all calls for Premier Health including all paging requests, consults, direct admits, and transfers from internal and external customers. The Access Coordinator will enter the on-call schedule for the various providers into the approved schedule data base as well as maintain it for any incremental changes. The Clinical Nurse will manage and guide the Access Center Coordinators. The Clinical Nurse also has the responsibility to oversee the process for all “alerts” across the system. These include: Stroke, AMI, hip fracture and sepsis alerts. Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Dept: SE7 Cardiac Medical Advanced Care Shift: Part Time 7pm - 7:30am / 48 Hours per Pay Facility: Miami Valley Hospital Sign on Bonus The clinical nurse (CN) functions in a multi-faceted role that demonstrates professionalism and promotes excellence in the practice of Nursing. The CN is responsible for maintaining high standards for a caseload of patients as described by the scope of care for the area of practice and demonstrates appropriate actions based on sound scientific research and evidence-based principles. The CN also coordinates/directs care delivered by the interdisciplinary team. The CN is accountable for compliance with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, applicable regulatory standards, and institutional policies and procedures. The CN provides physical, emotional and spiritual support that directly/indirectly impacts the patient outcomes and care provided to patients/ families/ significant others. Education: Graduation from accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred. Licensure/Certification/Registration: Valid Ohio RN license Experience: Previous hospital-based RN experience is preferred.
