Position Highlights Practice Independently in a full-service, Level 2 Trauma Center 26 ORs + 2 OB Suites | ~17,000 cases annually | ~4,000 births Case Variety : General, ortho, neuro, GYN, urology, GI, plastics, robotics, OB Skills: Regional Lines, epidurals, spinals. Practice to the full scope of your training. How you make a difference As a Nurse Practitioner MAT, you will deliver comprehensive medical care to patients, operating within established policies and procedures and in alignment with state regulations, under the guidance of the Site Medical Director and fellow site Physicians. Your role involves meticulous documentation of provided services for monitoring purposes and promptly communicating any schedule changes or coverage needs to the Medical Director and site director to ensure uninterrupted medical services for patients even during your absence. Key Responsibilities Conducts thorough medical examinations of referred patients upon reporting to the assigned facility, adhering to clinic treatment policies and all relevant state and federal regulations. Provides guidance and training to medical staff, participates in case conferences, and collaborates with clinic personnel on treatment plans while ensuring accurate and timely documentation of patient progress in SOAP format. Responds promptly to health emergencies following standard protocols, reviews records as necessary, and utilizes available resources for problem resolution before considering off-site referrals. Performs comprehensive medical assessments, including history-taking and physical examinations, to diagnose opioid dependence and coexisting medical or psychiatric disorders, making appropriate referrals for further treatment. Prescribes tailored patient care regimens, upholding confidentiality standards and contributing insights to facility committees upon request from the Site Medical Director or Health Services Administrator. Additional Details Must be a Nurse Practitioner in the State of Washington. This is an onsite, 1 day per week position focused on MAT patients. Qualifications & Requirements Education Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. Advanced degree in an approved and accredited Nurse Practitioner program. Experience 2 years’ experience as a Nurse Practitioner Licenses/Certifications Must have and maintain current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner within the state of employment. Must have and maintain current CPR certification. Must have or be willing to obtain DATA 2000 Waiver prior to employment.
