Key Responsibilities Interview patients to gather medical information and measure vital signs, weight, and height. Record medical history, vital statistics, and test results in medical records. Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, ensuring cleanliness and supply restocking. Clean and sterilize instruments and manage contaminated supplies. Conduct phone consultations regarding test results and health concerns. Process specimens, ensuring proper labeling and packaging for lab pickup. Perform phlebotomy and other diagnostic tests. Administer medications as ordered, including oral, intramuscular, SubQ, and topical. Ensure proper documentation of patient care activities. Stock exam rooms with supplies, checking for expired items, and managing waste. Participate in OSHA compliance programs and performance improvement initiatives. Promote a respectful and courteous environment for all patients and staff. Work collaboratively within a primary care medical home model. Attend safety training programs and adhere to safety protocols. Maintain work area and equipment per Legacy and governmental standards. Report safety concerns promptly and follow exposure control plans. Demonstrate proper use of protective equipment and maintain a safe environment.
