The Department of Ortho Sports Medicine is currently seeking a per diem Certified Medical Assistant to work at The Lennar Foundation Medical Center in Coral Gables. The Certified Medical Assistant 1 per diem will perform multi-skilled tasks to assist the medical providers. The CMA shall assist patients’ healthcare management and clinical procedures in a culturally competent manner utilizing evidence-based standards of quality, safety, and service. The MA provides hands-on care to patients while adhering to regulatory requirements, standards of care, and institutional policies and procedures, under the direct supervision and responsibility of a licensed physician. The physician in charge may delegate the tasks to oversee the MA to a Nurse or Designee in charge of the unit/clinic.
