Safety is a key component of the care provided as well as introduction of positive coping skills, healthy living and positive leisure activities. Therapy services will work among a large interdisciplinary team including Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Social Workers, and Nursing Services. There will be four units dedicated to serving children and adolescent with mental health diagnoses, dual diagnoses, substance misuse and complex behaviors, including those with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities and with Autism Spectrum Disorder. The staff are to be cross trained on all of these units as one team. 36 hours per week; 12-hour night shift; full time benefits and incentives offered. Description Hillsborough CCU: The Critical Care Unit is an 18-bed, mixed acuity unit located on the beautiful Hillsborough campus, which opened in 2015. They provide care to adults of all ages within the surrounding community. This unit cares for a range of medical and surgical patients with critical care needs. The majority of patients are intermediate status, with complications such as Heart Failure, substance withdrawal, sepsis, mechanical ventilation, and respiratory disorders. About one-quarter of the unit volume are ICU level patients requiring vasoactive drips and mechanical ventilation. They also care for post-op surgical patients from the various surgical services provided in Hillsborough. This unit is responsible for responding to all Code Blues and Adult Rapid Responses for the Hillsborough campus.
