These services are performed in accordance with the physician’s orders and the established plan of care, under the direction and supervision of the Branch Director. Qualifications 1. Must hold a current and unencumbered Registered Nursing License in the state which you intend to work.2. Must be organized, detail-oriented and possess effective communication skills both orally and in writing. 3. RN must understand the issues related to the delivery of home health care and be able to problem-solve effectively. 4. Ability to assume a flexible work schedule. Requirements :1. JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for assisting physician with patient care, clerical, environmental and organizational tasks. Responsible for appointment scheduling including care and chart management. Collect, process routine testing, and returning results back to doctor. Obtain, process doctor’s orders, and data entry. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Work under direct supervision of MD, PA-C or NP to provide excellent patient care to all clients that come to Brad Erikson Family Practice. Performs a head-to-toe assessment on all patients and performs reassessments as per policy. This includes all age-appropriate care including: pediatric, geriatric, and the general patient population. Assist in minor office procedures and appropriate medical screening exams. Adequately assesses and reassesses pain. Utilizes appropriate pain management techniques. Educates the patient and family regarding pain management. Performs waived testing (point-of-care testing) per clinical laboratory’s and the patient care unit’s policies and procedures as needed when the lab tech is unavailable and performs tests in a timely manner and interpret results of waived test. Is knowledgeable of medications and their correct administration based on age of the patient and their clinical condition using 5 medication rights. Interacts professionally and treats patients and their families with respect and dignity. Involves patient/family in the formation of the plan of care. Identifies and addresses psychosocial, cultural, ethnic, and religious/spiritual needs of patients and their families. Functions as a liaison between administration, patients, physicians, and other healthcare providers. Consults other departments as appropriate for an interdisciplinary approach to the patient’s needs. Communicates appropriately and clearly to office manager, co-workers, and physicians. Documentation meets current standards and policies. Manages and operates equipment safely and correctly. Is flexible, organized and functions under stressful situations.
