A K-12 educational institution in Walnut Ridge, AR, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support the health and well-being of its students throughout the current school year (CSY) on a contract basis. This role requires a compassionate, detail-oriented nurse comfortable working with children across all grade levels, from kindergarten through twelfth grade. Key Responsibilities: Provide health services and nursing care to students within the school setting. Manage daily health screenings, administer medications, and respond to minor injuries or illnesses. Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to support student health plans. Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance with state guidelines. Promote a safe and healthy school environment. Qualifications: Active Arkansas State Nursing License as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Comfort and experience working with pediatric populations across a broad age range (K-12). Previous experience in pediatric nursing or school nursing is preferred but not mandatory. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently within a school environment.
