Provides appropriate interventions for pain. Documents reassessment of pain as per hospital policy. Provides patient/family education regarding cardiac risk factors. Notifies physician for unrelieved pain as indicated. Introduces plan for healthy lifestyle changes. Educates patient in cardiac disease process and introduces cardiac rehab recovery plan. Educates patient on cardiac cath/interventional radiology post procedure instructions and provider follow up. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred. Two years of Cath lab/PCI experience. Current NJ RN License required. CPR Certification required. ACLS Certification required. IV Certification required. Speciality certification preferred. Moderate Sedation certification required. Basic knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology and hemodynamics.
